Marija (pronounced Maria) DeVita

Trained and Skilled! Marija graduated from the Esthetic Institute in 2011 and in 2020 from Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage. Skin and body wellness is her passion! Searching for ways to improve health-challenged skin led her to obtain Oncology training for Esthetics. Always going beyond basic, she also earned certification in Body Contouring, Dermaplaning, Chemical peels, Manual Lymph Drainage - Dr Vodder Technique, and other Advanced modalities.


Desiring freedom to offer the best treatments and skincare solutions led her to leave the corporate world and open her own studio. What’s in a name? Tala? 

“Bright Star,” as it is translated from the Philippines Tagalog “Tala”, is more than just a name. It embodies wellness values and brand culture including massage and esthetic services, oncology skincare, and more. Marija's goal is for you to be the best bright star you can be. She wants to reveal your amazing God-given unique beauty. 


Throughout our lives, our skin changes so much.


Marija provides solutions to many skin-related concerns such as lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, acne, sun damage, rosacea, sensitivity. She loves pairing clinical skincare and modalities (Chemical Peels, Microcurrent, Nano Infusion, Micro-Channeling, LED Light Therapy, Gemstone Therapy, Sound Therapy, Aqua-dermabrasion, and other). Additional services are available for Oncology clients.


At Tala she is building community, although we are created much the same, each of us is an individual, Marija believes that every person has unique challenges and preferences, and she prides herself in being able to customize treatments to the needs of each individual. All bodies are unique and so are their respective treatment should be as well. 


Humbled by the thought that someone has come to her and has trusted her to work with them, she works hard to achieve the best results by taking a holistic approach to wellness.

Cancellation Policy 

Dear Clients,


Thank you for the privilege of serving you! In order to provide you with the best service possible please adhere to our cancellation policy. I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. 

In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:


24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. First time you will be forgiven, however, second time you may be charged the full amount of your scheduled service and the amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.


No-shows may also be charged the full amount of your scheduled service and the amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.


If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for paying for the full amount of your scheduled service.


Out of respect and consideration to other clients, please adhere to the policies above.
